Status: This bill passed the House Health and Welfare Committee but died at the end of the legislative session.  However, language from the Boni Bill, specifically around funding, has been requested as part of the budget (which has yet to be approved by lawmakers).

AFSCME members and DCBS employees have knocked on the doors of lawmakers and testified several times in the past several months.  We have spoked loud and clear on this issue: we need safer jobs and we need relief from unmanageable caseload levels.
